Terms of Service

By accessing or using Caddis Shack ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Caddis Shack is a marketplace that connects fly anglers ("Sellers") with other enthusiasts ("Buyers"). We provide the digital venue and payment infrastructure. Sellers are independent community members, not employees or agents of Caddis Shack.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

Sellers must complete onboarding through our payment processor (Stripe) before listing gear. By applying to sell, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Caddis Shack may deny or revoke seller status at our discretion.

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the condition of their gear, and timely fulfillment of orders. Misrepresenting items is grounds for immediate account termination.

Caddis Shack charges a 5% platform fee on each completed sale to maintain the hatch. Sellers receive the remaining 95%, minus any applicable Stripe processing fees. Payouts are handled by Stripe on a rolling basis subject to Stripe's payout schedule.

All listings must be for fly fishing gear. The following are prohibited:

• Items not related to fly fishing
• Counterfeit or misrepresented goods
• Items that violate any applicable law
• Protected natural materials or live animals

Once a Buyer's payment is confirmed, funds are held in escrow until the order is marked shipped. After shipment, a confirmation window begins. After 10 days with no dispute, funds are automatically released to the Seller.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Missoula County, Montana.
